very nice portrait chief. Contrast on right well done. skin tones and shadow wrinkles also very true to the age. highlights of small wrinkles on forehead showing details. lips and nose are structurally fine, but something is poking me about perspective. Thick wild one eyebrows are his and portrayed well. shirt is a tad on ambiguous which is fine; doesnt detract from the portrait.

I know what you mean about perspective and I figured it had something to do with not being able to good a good photo and using the "skew" tool on Photoshop to straighten up the edges.

However after uploading a decent, straight-on photo (thankfully there was just the right type of cloudy diffused light here in Northern England to avoid shine and still be bright enough for decent photograph) I now think that it's the shoulder on the left (as you look at it) which I brought up slightly because in the original reference pic I found on the net I thought that it looked a bit odd and weak, kind of slanting downwards too much.

Mind you, that's always been a problem with reality, things just sometimes look odd rather than how the mind's eye expects them to be formed, especially the human body.
