View from the roof of my apartment block. Taken last Autumn, stitched together (my first stitch with a cheap program hence the GLARING errors on the left hand side) and then lost on my hard-drive until now.
It'll make a great oil painting - I'm thinking 12 feet/4.8m here - something which I just don't have the time to do at the moment. Probably as a dyptic. |

It's stitched together well, but that's nothing compared to the contrast between cheery blue sky on one end and the dark storm on the other. It's dramatic. I typically try to add a little color to skyscapes, enhance what is already in the clouds. This case the right decision was to leave it alone, if anything just make it a bit darker at the far end where it seems to lighten up again.
