Artist's Comments

View from the roof of my apartment block. Taken last Autumn, stitched together (my first stitch with a cheap program hence the GLARING errors on the left hand side) and then lost on my hard-drive until now.

It'll make a great oil painting - I'm thinking 12 feet/4.8m here - something which I just don't have the time to do at the moment. Probably as a dyptic.

Very nice. Great panoramic. The combination of grey clouds with rain on the right and the blue skys and sun on the left is great. Well done. The stitching seems good also!
:iconbigguy:
I'm guessing you used several photos stitched together instead of a panoramic camera? At least that's what most folks do....

It's stitched together well, but that's nothing compared to the contrast between cheery blue sky on one end and the dark storm on the other. It's dramatic. I typically try to add a little color to skyscapes, enhance what is already in the clouds. This case the right decision was to leave it alone, if anything just make it a bit darker at the far end where it seems to lighten up again.
